Troubleshooting
What to do when something does not work as expected.
Each entry follows the format symptom → probable cause → solution.
KPIs and dashboard
KPIs are not showing / dashboard is blank
| Symptom | The KPI dashboard shows no values; indicators are empty or display dashes. |
| Probable cause | The active forecast version is open. KPIs are only calculated on closed versions. |
| Solution | Ask an administrator to close the version from Forecast → Version management. Once closed, KPIs will be calculated and available on the dashboard. |
Forecast editing
I cannot edit a forecast cell
| Symptom | Clicking a cell in the forecast grid does not enter edit mode, or a lock icon is shown. |
| Probable cause 1 | The edit window for that phase is closed for the current period. |
| Probable cause 2 | That phase is not assigned to your user account. |
| Solution | Contact your organization's administrator to verify (a) that your user has the relevant phase assigned, and (b) that the edit window is currently active. See Roles and permissions. |
"My forecast change was not saved"
| Symptom | You believe a change was not recorded in the system. |
| Probable cause | Saving in AInventory is automatic and immediate; there is no manual save step. |
| Solution | Open the Change History of the active version to verify that your edit was recorded with a timestamp and user. If the change does not appear in the history, it may indicate a transient connection error; try the edit again or contact support. |
