Troubleshooting

What to do when something does not work as expected.

Each entry follows the format symptom → probable cause → solution.


KPIs and dashboard

KPIs are not showing / dashboard is blank

SymptomThe KPI dashboard shows no values; indicators are empty or display dashes.
Probable causeThe active forecast version is open. KPIs are only calculated on closed versions.
SolutionAsk an administrator to close the version from Forecast → Version management. Once closed, KPIs will be calculated and available on the dashboard.

Forecast editing

I cannot edit a forecast cell

SymptomClicking a cell in the forecast grid does not enter edit mode, or a lock icon is shown.
Probable cause 1The edit window for that phase is closed for the current period.
Probable cause 2That phase is not assigned to your user account.
SolutionContact your organization's administrator to verify (a) that your user has the relevant phase assigned, and (b) that the edit window is currently active. See Roles and permissions.

"My forecast change was not saved"

SymptomYou believe a change was not recorded in the system.
Probable causeSaving in AInventory is automatic and immediate; there is no manual save step.
SolutionOpen the Change History of the active version to verify that your edit was recorded with a timestamp and user. If the change does not appear in the history, it may indicate a transient connection error; try the edit again or contact support.
