Interface tour

The AInventory interface is organized around three fixed elements: the Sidebar (main navigation), the top header (tenant, user, and theme), and the SofIA floating button. The rest of the space is the content area, which changes according to the active section.

The Sidebar groups all platform sections into functional groups. Its behavior varies by device:

  • Desktop — the Sidebar expands automatically when you hover over it and collapses when you move the cursor away. In the collapsed state it shows only icons.
  • Tablet / mobile — the Sidebar is hidden by default; it opens with the menu button (☰) in the top-left corner of the header.

Configurable phases

The phases shown in the Forecast group may vary between tenants: the administrator configures which phases are enabled and what name they display in the interface. The four standard phases are Baseline (AI), Sales, Marketing, and Consensus.

Role-based visibility

The Change Control and Configuration groups are only visible to users with the Administrator role. The Administration group (Client Management and Partners) is only visible to users with the Owner role. If you cannot see one of these groups, check your role with your organization's administrator.

Top header

The header is always visible at the top of the screen. It contains:

  • Tenant selector — the active company name; click to switch (see Sign in and access).
  • User menu — access to account information and the sign-out option.
  • Theme icon (sun / moon) — toggles between light and dark theme.

Light / dark theme

AInventory supports two visual themes:

  • Click the sun icon (light theme active) to switch to dark theme.
  • Click the moon icon (dark theme active) to switch back to light theme.

The preference is saved in the browser (localStorage), so it persists across sessions on the same device.

SofIA — AI copilot

SofIA is available on any page in AInventory. You will find it as a floating button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Clicking it opens the conversation panel.

From SofIA you can:

  • Ask questions about your tenant's data (current KPIs, open versions, simulation results).
  • Request explanations of terms or metrics.
  • Ask for guidance on how to use a platform feature.

SofIA always operates in the context of the active tenant: its responses are scoped to your organization's data and information.
